  1. newegg.com

  2. First if you use 32 bit system, I suggest you have 4G maximum, cause any extra ram won't do any good for you, keep that in mind.

Second, you may want to check out your computer's mother board, that's how you determine what kind of ram you really need. In order to do that, you can go to your computer brand's website, like dell.com or hp.com  etc...   check out your computer's Specifications from the website, write down the type of ram that your computer's motherboard supported, and then you can go to the local store or websites like tigerdirect and newegg to get your ram.

    Hope this helps

    Good Luck

  3. I found high quality RAM for my Dell that fit perfectly and I got free shipping.  I will upgrade my RAM there again for the low price and high quality.

  4. www.datamem.com walks you through finding the right RAM.  You select computer brand, model, etc. then it tells you how many slots you have, how much RAM you can handle, and lists the various sizes they have available for you.

  5. If you bought a brand name computer, you might want to look up your computer model and see if it says DDR or DDR2 for ram, once you find that out then you can buy the ram that it says on the computer specs. There's the option of a computer/office store, or there's always online stores. I personally like Newegg.com, you can find ram for a good price and save money.

If you know the motherboard you have, look it up and see what ram is compatible.

  6. 4allmemory.com runs a diagnostic of your computer and not only lists the type of RAM your computer uses, but it gives you the option to purchase straight from the site.

  7. go to http://www.crucial.com there you can get any type of RAM and check for compatibility of your computer.
