Where can I get necklace chains?

I'm making jewellery and I need to get chain to make a necklace with. Where can I get link chain?

I've looked but I can only find bead chains but I don't want that.

local craft stores should have some with their jewelry supplies (hobby lobby has alot)  or otherwise just go to a department store and get cheap necklaces and take them apart

Fire mountain gems has chains.

I don't make jewelry myself but my sister gets their catalogue and I look through it sometimes.
