Where can I get old surfboards?

I live in the midwest and need to acquire old surfboards cheaply to use as decor and to build a tiki bar. Anyone know where I can get them without spending too much money? (They don't need to be rideable)

  1. you have to understand that a persons Surf Board is something that can never be given up without it braking and if one is broken then they keep it. You would really have to understand this but loving the sport 100%. I used to live in Hawaii and I remember how a persons surf board was like the air you breathe. You may look at Craigslist.com and see if maybe someones mom is selling one just as punishment and trust me it would be a big punishment for the kid. SO good luck with that. You may also post a ad in that site for you to get broken ones to have on the wall as well but that may be hard to get as well.

  2. Call Frankie Avalon & I bet he can fix you right up. lol  Seriously, why don't you put an ad in your local newspaper or check some flea markets, yard sales. You never know what you'll stumble across. Good luck in finding some.

  3. www.craigslist.com

  4. Were you get all the old stuff that people say is new, "Ebay.com"

  5. i don't think you'll find many surfboards in the midwest.

  6. My best guess would be Ebay.com.

  7. Like the other poster mentioned - craigslist.org is your absolute best option to find the cheapest surfboard.   I'm sure someone has one for sale even in the midwest.  If you go to ebay, you'll have to pay for shipping too if it's not local.  I would use ebay as a second option.  You can put a wanted ad up for free as well in craigslist.

    Good luck.
