  1. I started out using coloring books for my guide. Then after I got better and trusted myself more more,I gradually added brush strokes to my pictures. Now I do it freehand.

One of my favorite things to make is Birth Pillows for family and friends.I paint a personalized pillow matching the child's bedroom theme.Or per the parents request. There is one still going strong from10yrs ago.

Good luck and enjoy the joy of your new craft : )

  2. Go with your heart.  You can use almost anything, free hand, stencil, stamping ( you can even use things found in your kitchen such as sponge, cut cabbage, leaves etc).

You can even finger paint.  Just have fun with it.

  3. The last I knew Micheal's ACmoore and Hobby Lobby had them

  4. stencils you can get at any craft store... also theres a site online that has stencils you just print and cut out either the black or white (more commonly the black..)
