Where can I get recycle boxes in Montreal?

I need the green recycle boxes. And I'd like to know where to get it, and do they charge for the box?

It depends on the borough where you reside. For example, Plateau Mont-Royal distributes the green boxes (free) at 2 locations (see first link below).

From the City website (second link below), follow the link to "the boroughs" to find yours.

Alternatively, pick up the phone and dial 311.

I suspect you have trash removal contractors within the city, and/or the city has offices and phone numbers that deal with and regulate trash removal.

   I think I'd be contacting them first. Surely Montreal must have an agency responsible, if in fact they have a recycling program in effect.

   I don't know your set up regarding city government, but within that system, you should find answers.
