Where can I get references to realistic predictions of the future?

I'm interested in knowing realistic predictions of how the future will be in terms of world culture, technology, politics etc. Who are the best authorites in this matter? Any books you recommend? Please none of that nostradamus or religious end of the world garbage.

  1. If you would like an accurate prediction, I suggest you not call it or anything related to it garbage. The most reliable source is a psychic or fortune teller. Books won't be as good but, not that it's any of my business but are you a politician?
