Where can I get the English version of Harry Potter 7 in Rome?

I'll be in Ccntral Rome when it comes out. Where can I go to get the book in English? Anywhere specific?

Amazon.com could probably ship it to your hotel or home. There may be an Italian amazon branch that also carries English-language books.

Your favorite local bookseller might also send it to you, if you have a close relationship with him/her, and are willing to pay the postage.

There's a good possibility an English-language bookstore may have it on the publishing date.

I've never been to Italy, but I live in Japan, and the amazon option has worked for me just fine.

Dont get it shipped to Italy unless you live here its a real pain in the butt to deal with the shipping issues like customs and taxes. There are many book stores but I cant say for sure if you will find a book in english because its going to be so new. The best places to look will be bookstores in tourist area and airports these places usually have more english book compared to most Italitan books stores that have no books in english. I live in Italy and have looked out in town for things like this before. Good luck with adventrue

Amazon.com would be a great place to get it, especially at a good price.  I'm not sure if they would guarantee it to be there on July 21 internationally though.

Unfortunately, delivery times from Amazon can take a while. Some packages can get hung up in customs for a while.

There are a lot of bookstores in Rome with books in English. Feltrinelliis a large bookseller in Italy with lots of books in English - Via E Orlando, 84 at the Repubblica metro stop. They also have an outlet at Largo Argentina.  Anglo American Bookstore - Via delle Vite, 102 at the Spagna metro stop. The Lion Bookshop Via dei Greci, 36 also at the Spagna metro stop.

I was in some bookstores in Venice yesterday that had few or no books in English which were advertising the new Harry Potter in English next week. I bought the last two in Venice on the day of issue - no lines lots of available copies.
