  1. My personal favorites are El Toro on Valencia at 17th or their sister restaurant Pancho Villa on 16th between Valencia and Mission.

Don't know if you are a resident or a tourist but, be warned SF burritos are huge [I call them urban food logs].  Rice, beans, meat, guac, cheese, salsa wapped in a flour tortillia.  Split a burrito if you don’t want food coma and enjoy the house made aqua frescas!

And a couple taquarias outside the Mission, because you can never have too much good Mexican food.

La Mexicalli 900 Block of Sutter – good Mexican food on lower nob hill, who woulda thought?

Zapita on 18th & Collingwood in the Castro is also very good.

Cucos on Haight at Fillmore.  Consistant good food at about $2 less than most other places.  Good carna asada.

  2. Here's a list of burrito/mexican places (including taco trucks) in the Mission District.   http://www.yelp.com/search?find_desc=bur...    Not to point ot the obvious but for over 600 reviews, El Farolito has a high rating.

Good Luck getting a great burrito!!!

  3. the taqueria  25th and mission next to deanda s

  4. Chipotle
