Well a book wouldn't really help you on how to play a piano. So i would prefer you take lesson's. Lesson's are much better. I even thought of getting a book to learn how to play the piano but then I thought "What if I don't learn anything here? Then what?" So I decided to get lesson's and I can play almost like a pro. Take my advice, don't get a book take some lesson's for a while and see how it goes. Another option is taking a course on how to play the piano. If you go on www.google.ca and type in How to play a piano?, they will teach you most of the notes, rests, signs, terms etc. Think about it.
