At my local driving range, it is $7.50 for a bucket of balls and the bucket is so small, It is a real rip off.

I love to drive golf balls and they allow you to bring your own (but you will never get them back.)

Where can I get a good amount of golf balls for cheep?

  1. Why would you want to take your own balls to the range no matter the cost?  Just pay what they charge hit them and leave.  Wouldn't it cost as much or more to take your own?  If you really want to take your own check out the link below.

  2. You can get some practice/used balls on eBay for a descent price however, once you hit them, they'll be gone and you will be back on eBay looking for more balls while the range adds your purchased golf balls to their bin for others to use.

Is this the ONLY driving range that's in your area?  What about the courses that you play?  Usually (depending on the course) they will allow you on their driving range for free as long as you've payed for 18 holes to play.

The course I play at, each station has a ball basket that gets filled up when it's running low.  FREE!

It's a perk of playing at this course.

Try calling your local golf courses and find out if they have a range to practice on before playing and ask them if the range is free for players or how much they charge.  I'd bet that the courses range is either free or not nearly as expensive as the driving range.

    Hope this helps.
