Where can I get the complete collection of American legislation?

I wanna learn all American laws inluding the federal and state ones.

But I can't find it. Help me please

  1. You won't find "it." The Federal Laws are codified in US Code and each of the 50 states has its own statutes. BTW, that is a LOT of legislation to "learn." Doubt it can be done. Not to mention that much of what is written in statutes is modified and refined by case law decisions by the judiciary.

  3. Here is a good place to start: http://lp.findlaw.com/

    It has the U.S. Code, the U.S. Constitution, Supreme Court cases, and links to many states sites for information on their laws.

    Another very good source is to visit your local library. They should have copies of these laws there, and probably also local laws for your community.
