Where can I get the thing to make cheese fondue?

Im not exactally sure what it is called, but I really want one. and dont have a lot of experience with one. I was wondering if there is a place that I could get an affordable cheese fondue maker. Some where that pretty much anywhere would have..(target, meijer, etc.)

I would greatly appreciate it.. thanks :D

yes target has them. i just put my fiance and i on the wedding registry there and i wanted to get one but we didnt so i know they do. you can do chocolate in it too. they are a lot of fun. its not that hard. it comes with a book in it too...have fun

harris teeter or walmart. go there and get some good cheese and the bread(bargate??? i don't know the exact name.) that's it!!

You can buy them everywhere, LOL

Wal-Mart, Target, Sams, Linen and Things, Etc.

A slow-cooker works fine and you can buy them almost anywhere.  They even sell them in some of the grocery stores but Walmart and Target have a bigger selection and for a better price.  

For the sticks I use bamboo skewers which can also be gotten most anywhere.

Yeah it is a fondue pot. We have one. We got it from Macy's I belive. But just about anywhere. Try a restaurant supply store.

You can also just use a normal deep metal heavy based cooking pot therefore not having to spend money on something you'll probably only use a few times a year. It works just as well.

It's called a crockpot. You can get it at a store like Target, Wal-Mart, etc.

crockpots would work, but what you are actually lookign for is just called a Fondue pot, and you can get a alcohol one or electric... I would suggest an electric with a non-stick interior for easy cleanup, its worth it cheese isn't the easiest thing to clean up after a party.

most department stores: target, walmart, kmart, ect will have 1 or 2, if you go to a fany kitchen store (linenes and things, Bed, bath and beyond, ect) they will likely have a selection.
