I do miss the...positive social aspect of being part of a church, but at this point in my life, I am agnostic. I would like to go to a place where I could still get the positive feedback/message that we all as individuals need in our life, without being made to feel that I have to convert or hear extreme condemning thoughts on peoples behaviors and choices. Any suggestions? Also I live in the Ft. Lauderdale/Miami area and I am not into chanting:-)

I know most religion is organized, but I guess what I mean by this, is not too organzied. So maybe more non-denominational or something? I dont want to go to a place where first you I dont know say 20 hail marys, next you wash your hands, then you kneel and roll your eyes twice, then we talk...you get the pic:-)

  1. try a country club

  2. well maybe the Unitarian Universalism movement in your area might be of help.  they are very open minded and do not pressure anyone. to go to any place where you meet about spiritual things, you will be influenced by others faith whether you like it or not.

  3. try watching Dr. Phil.

  4. Uh.... self-help seminars?

Edit: Uh, why am I here? Huh? You're the one asking for social.moral reinforcement without religion, maybe you shouldn't be in this section.  xP
