  1. Hang on a tick, do you mean a ship or a boat ?

A ship carries boats, a boat cannot carry a ship.

I have a narrowboat, and too many GRP, or "tupperware" things are a nuisance, as they just bob around and some-one from a boat show with bags of money puts on a captains cap and is clueless in all respects.

Please consider a pucker boat made of thick steel.

If you really mean buying a ship, then Japan is the place to look.

If you are after a nice big boat, then check out Boatie magazines, and visit boatyards.

Bags of advice from us boaties.

  2. the Woolwich ferry or HMS Belfast

  3. A ship is a big thing, like HMS Belfast or the Cutty Sark.

Do you mean a cruiser or narrowboat for leisure use?

Check your local yellow pages or the web for boatyards or marinas in the area.

    Happy cruising.

  4. You can go around HMS Belfast, but it's not for sale.

  5. Try putting Shipbrokers into your search engine-you should get some results. Boats and outboards have had a few small coasters recently, also Apollo Duck. Good luck.

  6. Is the Woollich Ferry still running?

  7. you cant but a ship in London.

if you mean a large boat there's a nice marina in greenwich

  8. If you can wait that long - London Boat Show on 11-20th January.  Lots of choice there.
