  1. google it

  2. Lagenda malaysian restaurant at holiday villa hotel (bayswater). You have two choices of soup, one spicy & one non spicy... attended a steamboat party there & it was really good!

  3. the place Miss B is referring to is called Oriental City. There used to be a steamboat restaurant there, but I don't recall seeing it there anymore because the whole complex is closing down for redevelopment in the next few months.

    Food court is good though.

I've lived in London for years and I have never come across another steamboat restaurant here before. It's always best done at home!

  5. No that many places here do it...i think Angeles in Kilburn do it...on the chinese side of the restaurant, the best place for malay food is Colindale....kinda far out but it has like a malay food court and i swear to you, the stuff actually tastes good...and I grew up in brunei (borneo) so trust me on this one...you could try looking around china town...1997 there is good, but I'm not 100% that they do steamboat, best to do a google search where they do reviews and look for reviews malaysians or people who have lived there only!!

  6. Ed is right! i've been to lagenda just before xmas, i was invited by a friend to a steamboat dinner. it was the first time i had tried it and it was great, they had two kinds of soup chicken and tomyam if you like it spicy, go for the tomyam!!!
