Where can I go for a wine tasting tour in SW France; either the Charente Maratime or Deux-Sevres area?

If any one can give me website info. or addresses of 'degustations' that they know of or have experienced in this region I'd be very grateful; btw I leave on Monday.

Go to tourist offices in the most famous wine ( and armagnac + cognac + pineau ) regions and ask for the adresses of producers

accepting visits of their cellars - hard to imagine producers

refusing.....

Just a tip : don't go to cooperatives - if you buy wine don't buy it in containers - and protect the boxes with linnen, clothes etc

and don't put them right over the waste-steam pipe - wine should at any price never be transported in heat.
