  1. surfing holiday is an ultimate idea to spend the weekends .I will suggest you to take help of http://sightseeing.travour.com/sightseei...

  2. Hi,

You have several options. Australia's coastals are amazing. Whichever you choose they all have great places to surf and explore the holiday areas. Here are some of the options you can do:

    1. Victoria (east coast of Australia)

Melbourne is the capital city of Victoria and been voted to be world's most livable city in the world followed by Vancouver in Canada.

The state of Victoria is famous for one of the best in the world's surf beach called Torquay. Massive wave. It's great during summer but expect some warmer wetsuit during winter but the waves are always amazing.

If you stay in the area of Torquay, you can do many things as it's a long coastal which covers many town (you might wanna stay in town other than Torquay like Airlie Beach, Bells Beach etc). Things which you can do - there're lots of natural wonders such as walking in the national park looking for water falls, the famous Great Ocean road (we have rocks formations called 12 Apostles) and lots of little cute town to explore with lighthouses.

you could drive inland a little bit to the famous national park called the Grampians. Do a hike to the top (pinnacle viewpoint) as well as other hiking tours. See the wild life as well (I spotted wallabies, wombats, and some of the other natives Australian Animals). Torquay Beach is within 1.5-2 hrs drive to Melbourne city.

    2. New South Wales (east coast of Australia)

Sydney - any sydney city beaches are within proximities to the city itself so well said about holiday areas activities (that's the pro). The cons would be crowded.

Newcastle - this is about 2-3 hrs by train/buses/drive north of Sydney. It's an industrial area but have nice beaches and places to surf. It holds the annual surfing competition. You can explore the ecopark and wetlands or explore the beautiful sand dunes. During summer there're plenty of bars at night beautifully lit :)

Wollongong - approximately 75 minutes south of Sydney. It's a home of BHP Billiton office (The biggest Australia's mining company). Great beaches to surf, there's also walks around the rainforest, a lookout on top of Mount Kiera, a science and planetarium centre.

Both Wollongong and Newcastle is a mini town but has everything you need as a big town.

    3. Western Australia (west coast of Australia)

Perth is the capital city of Western Australia. Western Australia has many nice beaches you can surf within close proximity of Perth. There're a lot things you can do. Long endless coastal roads, you can swim with whales, dolphins and lots of national park including the famous Kimberly national park. Western Australia's one of the biggest state in Australia. Getting from one end to the other certainly takes time but you won't probably notice since there're lots of beautiful sceneries and activities to do :).

To give you idea of location and how long these cities are connected - From Melbourne to Sydney is about 1.5 hrs by plane. From Melbroune to Perth is about 4 hrs by plane.

Weather wise - Perth is tropical (hot all year round with some monsoon at the end of the year).

Melbourne - Great during summer but expect to wear warm thermal during winter (but Torquay beach is surfable all year round :-)).

Sydney - Average warm temperature (not too hot not too cold).

    Hope this helps :)

  3. If you want warm Temps anywhere from the Sunshine coast to Sydney.Colder south coast NSW and around Victoria. Me.I would get a camper and do a big tour.

  4. Surfing with the Billabong Brand

Billabong set its roots in Queensland. It was founded in 1973, by Rena and Gordon Merchant. The company started out as a manufacturer of board shorts and slowly expanded its operations. In 1981, the company decided to become an aggressive player in the surf apparel market by branching out to an international crowd. At first, it expanded its business to include New Zealand and the United States, then to South Africa, Japan and finally to Europe. Once the ball was set in motion it was only a matter of time before it became a global effort. As the brand gained exposure and popularity the company decided to branch into other sports related apparel markets. They started experimenting with different lines of sports packages such as snowboarding and skateboarding.

  5. torquay - bells beach
