Where can I go in Manhattan (bars, etc.) without getting carded on a Saturday night?

Any venue that is exclusively a bar or a nightclub serving alcohol will ask for ID. The liability for serving minors is too high and very few places will risk getting shut down and or losing their hard to come by liquor licenses just so you can have an illegal drink.

You can however find some restaurants with a more bar like atmosphere that you can get into.  If you try to order liquor though, you will be asked for ID or they may ask for your ID upon entering and notify their servers that you're not to be served alcohol.

BB Kings on 42nd between 7th and 8th is a good one.  If you go into the smaller room, Lucille's, there's no cover/minimum and live music (usually blues) every night.

Jazz Standard on 27th in Chelsea is another but they don't often have no-cover nights.  You'll need to watch the schedule for those.
