Where can I go in Seattle to Barhop?

My finance and I want to go to Seattle to see his parents, and to get some (much deserved and very rare) time out enjoying the nightlife. We like to go from bar to bar...but we're strictly against drinking and driving. Is there anywhere in Seattle where the bars are close together enough to walk from one to another?

  1. Pioneer Square is a good place to go barhopping.  Also, first avenue in downtown Seattle known as Belltown has bars all along both sides of the street.  Capitol Hill has some pretty good bars you can walk to like on Pike and Pine Streets.  They're mostly g*y bars, so I don't know if you guys mind that or not.  Ballard also has a bar district, as well as Fremont.  I guess it depends on where you're staying, but you can get to any Seattle neighborhood via cab.  Especially in the areas where the bars are, there are lots of cabs available.

If I could recommend one area to go out in, I think I'd have to say either Belltown or Fremont.

Anyway, hope you guys have fun!

  2. Head downtown around Pike Street bars are one right afer the other!.Take a cab form your hotel
