  1. Ola meu nome é Celso, sou brasileiro , podemos ser amigos?

  2. You can have your local police department run a "Triple I" report. They may charge you, but a "Triple I" has EVERYTHING!

  3. Unfortunately, no such document exists.  You can get a driver's record, or you can get credit record, but they don't have a common accepted security clearance.  The problem is that you are trying to prove a negative.  It isn't enough to get a piece of paper that says "No Criminal Records Found".  To be valuable, a security clearance document needs to show that every place you ever lived and worked was part of the search.

The FBI does them and the Defence Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO) does them as well.  But the process is lengthy and expensive and has to be requested by a government agency.  My last one (by the FBI) took over six months.

Generally a good credit score is good evidence that you have good integrity.  It is hard to pay your creditors when you are in jail.

  4. Lena, I am a retired federal agency security officer, and I currently conduct background investigations for persons being processed for a security clearance. It is correct that the employing federal agency or federal contractor must actually submit your security clearance paperwork to begin the process of obtaining a security clearance.  This is because you must have a NEED for the security clearance, and only federal government employees, military, and/or federal government contractors need clearances.  These people are the only ones who have a need to access government information.  ONLY federal government information is classified.  Other government info may be considered sensitive, but it is not classified.  SO, if you are responding to job ads which state: "you must have a security clearance", this means you must already be a federal government employee or contractor and have an active clearance.  Most job ads will say "you must qualify for a security clearance".  This means that you must have, at the very least, clear criminal record/background and good credit. This notation on job postings puts the potential applicant on notice not to apply if you can't pass the background investigation.  It does not mean you have to go out and get the clearance yourself. One last thing, having a security clearance is not the same thing as "requiring a criminal check".  Some jobs only require criminal checks, in which case, you can call your local police department and FBI office and inquire as to how to get a criminal check run on you.  There are fees and other requirements for this check.  Good Luck.
