Suggestion- Cheaper and more wholesome- Try it

250 gms peanuts crushed coarsely

200 gms caster sugar

Pam spray + 1 teaspoon butter

Spray Pam on the  nonstick pan add the butter and then  the sugar- Lower the  heat and let the sugar get to a golden brown, use a( wooden) spatula and  keep stirring the sugar so all of it is covered as it melts, let it all melt and  turn  the  heat for 1/2 a minute to HIGH, lower as the bubbles start and  add the crushed peanuts  and  stir quick to incorporate the nuts with the melted sugar coating all the peanuts,

Have a  lightly greased open  flat dish and pour the whole thing on it and  level it flat- let it cool completely

Tap the dish when  cool and break  the peanut brittle to bite sized pieces

Store in an  airtight tin

There now you do not have  to wait to get some when  U crave for peanut brittle- Yu can do this with any nuts, almonds, hazel nuts walnuts etc
