Where can I go out for a nice drink at a bar in Oxford Street, Sydney?

  1. Taylor Square is the place to go:

    Beauchamp Hotel (you pronounce it Beachum)

    276 Oxford Street

    The Judgement Bar

    cnr Bourke St

    Ruby Rabbit (This is nice a funky with a good crowd)

    231 Oxford (just a small doorway so look out for it)


  2. The gaslight hotel on the corner of crown and Oxford is a good place, as is the Q bar accross the road from Hungry Jacks on Oxford street. These are both hetero bars, if you're after g*y bars then I can't help.

  3. The typical place to drink in Sydney is beside a dumpster in an alley.

    Your average Sydney resident can be found slouching against a wall, or more likely lying on the ground, trying to drown his sorrows in cheap rum.

    While it may not be a nice drink, it's the best one can hope for in Sydney.
