Where can I go scuba diving?

I love the sea. I love fish. I would love to go scuba diving but I'm not sure where to start. I live in Western Maryland and would like to plan a weekend scuba diving trip. Where are some nearby places to dive? How do I make the trip plans? What's it cost? I don't even know where to start. Thoughts?

If you ever wanted to invest

and have an exciting scuba experience, i suggest going to the key west. It was so nice when i went for a school trip.

And for a summer trip with my family.

Definatly suggest the keys.

Being a Master Diver with 3652 dives I've been to some very beautiful places across the world, Roatan, Honduras, C.A. is probably the best. On the East end of the Island are many rocky beaches with tons of underwater rock formations with even more wildlife. On the West End are many upper class resorts and villas with sandy beaches close to a large reef that makes for impeccable reef and wall diving. Don't tell everybody you know about this well kept secret, but enjoy it well with friends and family.

Unless you want to wreck dive off the east coast it is a much greater experience by going somewhere tropical. Bermuda is closest to the east coast or the Bahamas, both places offer great diving with plenty of fish plus a good amount of sharks (friendly reef sharks).
