  1. Listen to the disney radio and look for auditions for any movie.

  2. My husband's little sister won an audition at a mall after she heard an ad for Disney auditions on Radio Disney.  However, she is an absolutely beautiful little girl and very outgoing.  She beat out over six hundred other kids.

The catch?  To go on to the next round of auditions she has to attend acting school at some child agency to the tune of about $9000 for three years.  That's about what her private schooling costs.  And that only guarantees that she will be able to keep auditioning.  Period.  That's it.

I commend you for wanting to be on the Disney Channel but please realize that the chances are very slim to none.  Make sure you have a back up plan and don't get too caught up in 'making it'.  Very few do.

Good luck though and listen to Radio Disney for auditions in your city.

  3. Okay, first off, you have the right mindset and you are in pretty much the perfect age range for wanting to become an actor :D

So what you have to start out with is this before disney...

    1) Get into the drama class at your school immediately

    2) Drop by your public library and pick up 3-4 books on acting (and read them all ! but don't stop there, keep getting more and more books:)

    3) Audition for all, and every performance venue at your school. (the more experience you get, the better!)

    4) Swing by a local community college and take a couple acting classes

    5) start memorizing and working on (extensively) audition monologues

    6) Audition for all of your local community theatre, and church performances etc...

    7) Talk to your parents (if you feel you are a strong enough performer, and if you like acting) about helping you achieve a career in acting.

    8) Get some headshots done (nothing too expensive or flashy, just something clean and professional)

    9) Find and audition for nearly all SAG or AFTRA approved talent agencies

    10) and remember... ACTING IS A VERY ROCKY CAREER CHOICE :D be ready for lots of rejection, criticism, hard work, and perseverance

but you can do it!! ^.^

  4. Look, all I can say is that many of the actresses/actors that are on disney get stuck in the middle of their career. The disney channel is a good mid-career move, but as a started it would be better to audition for small roles in movies...

Though this is not the answer to your question, I hope it helped. Many actors and actresses, singers and dancers get stuck working solely for

Disney. Even Ashley Tisdale and Selena Gomez started out doing something other than Disney.

If you already have some sort of resume then I cannot help you with where you would get to audition to Disney. You want to start small, maybe then do Disney and then merge out of Disney. Disney is not a lifetime thing, you have to have something on a resume other than Disney or to be honest you will not be taken seriously.
