I live around Carrollton, GA and I want to become a CNA. Family and friends have told me I can get certified for free through local nursing homes but I can't seem to find any that offers that. Can anyone help me out?

  1. call any votech.............

if they don't ahve one in your area call the personell office at a local hospital........ifyou hve both call both.........

  2. Go to your local One-Stop Job Centers, often run by the Department of Labor.  They are located in every major area.  There are federal funds for training in areas like CNA (called WIA funds), and if you qualify they will pay for your training.  That would be the best bet.  If there is a shortage of CNAs in your area/state, it is likely there are the funds.
