Ok, so it's my dad; not me. He's a Ph.D. who already has three dozen patents under his belt for miscellaneous things, but always for whomever his employer was at the time. Well, no joke, he has now independently created a technology that creates energy through the REMOVAL of greenhouse gases from the atmosphere; the technology creates enough energy to have paid for itself in three years. I'm not at liberty to discuss further details.

Anyway, he's looking for a grant to develop his idea. He doesn't want investors for lots of reasons. Where can someone go for something like this?

  3. Try Grants.gov. While the gov't is a royal PIA to work with and take what seems like a lifetime to respond, it is a source of funding without investors. Good luck

  4. Go to a patent lawyer.
