  1. Subject: Annual Big Crawfish Boil - Saturday, April 5 - West Alabama Ice House

Our 15th annual crawfish boil will be held at the historic West

Alabama Ice House on Saturday, April 5 from 1:00 to 7:00.  There will

be plenty of crawfish freshly arrived from south Louisiana, gumbo, red

beans & rice, inexpensive beer, live music, and plenty of people,

especially if the weather is nice.  If you've been before, you know

how popular it is.  The event even received somewhat of a mention in

an issue of Saveur magazine in 2006.  It's usually a good idea to get

there early, so that you can park within a couple blocks of the Ice

    House.

As in the past we will be helping the Star of Hope, which has been

aiding the downtrodden in the Houston area for 100 years.  We ask all

of our guests to be generous in bringing non-perishable food items to

the event for the Star of Hope.  Hope that you can make it.

  2. The best I found were at Tobin's Sports Bar on Jones Road just past FM 1960.  They are done by Tobin himself every Sunday during the season and they are great!  He has a 2nd location on 529 off of Hwy 6.  They are great there too!

  3. Papa's Seafood in Humble

  4. Some Chinese Buffet restaurants usually have crawfish and since it's a buffet, you can eat all you want.  One in particular is Golden Island on 901 N Shepherd Dr.

Also, there's a Seafood Buffet over in Kemah that serves crawfish and since it's a buffet, then you can eat all you want.

The name of the restaurant is Captain Wicks.

Also there is Ragin Cajun on 4302 Richmond - Half Bucket = 1.75 lbs

$MKT Served with 1 corn and 1 potato

    Full Bucket = 3.5 lbs

$MKT Served with 2 corn and 2 potatoes

    Hope this helps.
