  1. You can't really get a free digital tv with help from the government, but you may order coupons that can go towards a dtv converter to convert the dtv signal to analog for your analog tv set from the government's website dedicated to help educate consumers about the dtv transition located at https://www.dtv2009.gov/. The coupons can take down the price of these converters a lot and make them around $10 to $20 dollars as opposed to the price without the coupon at around $50 to $60. You can order coupons directly from the government that will be shipped out to you as soon as possible at https://www.dtv2009.gov/ApplyCoupon.aspx... All you have to do is fill out all of the basic forms on the online application and they'll ship it out to you at a time that is convenient for them. I have ordered one myself and should be receiving it any time now and think it will be well worth the wait!
