Where can I go to recover from a $7100.00 internet scam?

I was scammed out of $7100.00 on a work at home scam. My bank is threating to put charges against me if I don''t pay them back and I don't have the money to pay them back. Is there a place I can get help? I'm a senior citizen with a small income. Help please.

Unfortunately, there is not much you can do.

That is why they are called scams. People rarely get caught.

All I can say is, never give money to someone you do not know. And, unless you own your own business, all work at home offers are SCAMS!
