Where can I hire deckchairs?

I need 20-30 deckchairs for an event. I have tried to hire them from the local council to no avail. Alternatively, does anyone know where I can buy them relatively cheaply??

Try Blackpool or  Brighton beach locations.

You can rent chairs (for a garden type party) from any rental place.  Think the white folding chairs used at outside weddings.  You can also see if you can borrow chairs from your church.  Those folding type chairs or chairs in a bag are about $4-6 each on sale at a discount store.  See if you can borrow them from friends.  Or ask guests to bring their own ~ we've done that alot.  They don't mind.  Everybody has 2 chairs they can bring relatively easy in the trunk of their car.
