You can also check local universities and colleges that teach special education.  Many times there are students who have experience in ABA, and are looking for a job.

I'd also contact the local autism society for my city, county, or state.  They'd have a reason to give someone's name as a personal reference.

You can search for a board certified behavior analyst in your geographic area and send them an email from that website.

Currently certification is the only quality control measure to ensure that you are getting a qualified behavior analyst. A lot of people claim to teach using ABA but don't neccessarily have the background, training or understanding and use a very cookie cutter approach to teaching that may not work for your child. A good behavior analyst will look at your child's individual needs and make a plan specific to your child and make program decisions based on data.
