Question:

Where can I learn Frisian?

Maybe this should be 'Wêr kin ik leare Frysk?'

I've already checked out http://www.allezhop.de/frysk/ and eduFrysk, but are there any other services out there? I really like this language (even though there are even less speakers of it than Esperanto, this doesn't really phase me), so any directions to good sites or resources are appreciated. Thanks for all help.

  1. Go to Frisia, or settle for reading texts in the language.

There's virtually nothing by way of educational texts, unless you count linguistic masters thesis studies, if you find those online.

This is no small effort simply because of its close relation to English, you'd also have to choose which variety of Frisian to learn (2 v. different), or if you're willing to learn both.  Anyway, I see no possibility of learning this language without contact with its speakers, who can pretty much only be found in their homeland

  2. Frisian? dont mind but which countyr's language it is ???  i want to know it i have never heared 'bout itm !!!!!!!!

  3. There are quite a few organisations that are trying to promote and preserve the language, more if you include Plattdeutsch as a cousin of Friesian. I've linked to a few below.
