  1. http://www.fightresource.com/viewschools...

    and scroll down.

But, I would suggest who and what do you want to study, and then go to his school.

Even if it is in another state.

You could call, email, write a letter and if you are serious, they will help you get set up.

    Tuition,

    A place to stay,

But you need to have a little cash saved up,

You need to find a part time job to support yourself while you are training

    Jobs at 7/11

McDonalds anything that the hours are flexible or you can choose the shift so it won't interfer with your W/O schedule

  2. The US Army teaches most components of Gracie-style Jiu-Jitsu under the name "Modern Army Combatives Program."  Much focus on joint locks and choking, less on striking.  The vast majority of fights devolve into a ground battle anyway, where striking is not very effective.  Essentially, it is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu base with a focus on street fighting.

Joining the military might not be a good idea, for reasons irrelevant to this thread.  However, because we do not know your location within PA (its a big state!) its the best answer one can give.

(related note) I am from PA; if you are close to the Philly area there are some great BJJ spots in Wilmington DE.
