  1. Try the Vanguard site. It probably has info. They're one of the largest managers of mutual funds.

  2. You can visit MSN Money http://moneycentral.msn.com/home.asp which has an entire section devoted to mutual funds.  You click on the "investing" tab and you then find a "mutua fund" tab.

While there you should also look into the Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) which is another tab in the "investing" section on MSN Money.

Another site for mutual funds would be Morningstar, which is a rating service for mutual funds. http://www.morningstar.com/

You could also contact the funds companies for more information.  I have found that Vanguard & Fidelity can meet your needs for mutual funds.  The service and information they provide is all free and you will find it helpful

    Good luck

  3. here is a Mutual Fund Premier url: http://www.fundmojo.com/primer.shtml. Good luck

  4. Check out your local bookstore for books on investing in mutual funds, including at least one dummies book by Eric Tyson.  Also, you might want to contact several of the large funds for information on investing with them.  I would recommend you contact both Fidelity and Vanguard as they are the top two funds in the USA and most likely the world.  Both companies will bend over backward to provide you with the information you will need to make good investment decisions.  Good luck.
