Where can I learn single guitar notes?

can you help me find a chart that says

string

fret

note name

for example

Low E

1st

F#

also a chart that shows a music staff and tells you where on the staff each note is

  1. just one thing....1st fret on low E string isn't F#.

    That has all the info you need.  It shows you were the C is, and from there you can trace every other note.

    An *excellent* book for learning and understanding the notes on the guitar, how they relate to one another, and then begin diving into a bit of basic theory, check out the Musician's Institute Guitar Fretboard Workbook:
