One way of it is the DVD featuring Keiichi Tsuchiya, The Drift Bible. It will just teach you the basics though but it is a good way to start.

Race dirt cars. Every lap with 25 other drivers drifting around you.

Driftday.com has some good information to find places to watch drifting events and to learn to drift.

drifting isn't like race car driving and many people have said it is easier. From what I have heard, it's all in how you control your ebrake.
