  1. There are things you should do before you have a fundraiser, such as creating a special needs trust so that any money raised can be used for your daughter's expenses but not effect her eligibility for any federal programs.

For more information on fund raising and special needs trusts, see these videos:

Once you have things set up to handle the potential income from the fund raiser, decide what you want to do (ask businesses for donations and do a raffle, have a bake sale, bbq, dance, car wash, etc) publicize it and follow through!

  2. The organization that provides information and support for your daughter's type of injury should be able to advise you on that and probably even help you. Without knowing the specific injury there is no way to give you more information.

  3. I believe there already exists such an organization.  I know in The states and Canada there are very active fund raisers for these kinds of injury afflicted victims.

Perhaps find out on line and ask them to help you with your daughter, tell them you are willing to volunteer in some way to help out with fund raising.

I can only imagine that your time is fully occupied with caring for an injured child - so try helping in a way that does not require you to give too much of your time and energy.

    Good  Luck

  4. sorry to hear about your daughter, but what does this have to do with insurance?
