Looking for classes of some sort in the south of Sydney, I'd really like to get back into sewing my own clothes again. Way cheaper!

  1. All of the previous answers are excellent suggestions.  The only other one I can add is, have you checked craigslist?

There are two or three sewing classes listed in the San Francisco craigslist.  There might be some listed in the Sydney version.

    Try www.craigslist.com

  2. The Sutherland shire run cheap evening courses for all types of things including sewing. They are cheap and you do them at local high schools. Ring the council as the next course will start at the beginning of the next school term.

  3. try your local community college they may have lessons

  4.      Go to DIY.com and look it up or HGTV.com.They both tell you how to do almost anything.Or else go to a fabric shop and purchase a book on it.other stores will carry books on it too.your local library will also have a lot of books for beginners.

  5. check out your local fabric store.  they might offer lessons or know of someone who does.
