  1. You can't.  You must report it stolen/lost, if such is the case.  You are required by law to have this available at all times.  Report all illegal employers at www. we hire aliens . com  (spaces to avoid yahoo censors)


  2. You can't. It's not stored in any publicly accessible place. Even if you knew your A#, I doubt calling the USCIS Customer Information line would tell you specific details for fear of Identify theft.

  3. You don't have access to the data bank that has green card information.

    If you came to the U.S. as a new immigrant, your passport should have an admission stamp and a temporary I-551 stamp. If it was properly endorsed, your A# should have been written in your passport.

    That's one place you could look.

  4. You should be able to talk to someone over the phone at the USCIS (if you have an existing greencard)

    If your waiting for one they won't be able to help you with that over the phone. They might be able to give you a number you can use to search their website however.
