  1. I feed my horses Stable Mix from Elk Grove Milling Company. They sell it by the barrel and it's about $45 for 250 lbs of feed. Check their site and call feed stores to see if they have it. elkgrovemilling.com

  2. Here are a few sites for you to visit to see about ordering in bulk. Unless you have the bins and storage facility to buy in bulk, then don't. Rodents, pets, and other pests including ants can get into and contaminate the feed if not properly stored.

  3. it also depends on where you live in the country because not all mills ship to the entire U.S. Only your major one like Purina/Nutrena are found coast to coast. I know down here in the south there is a company called Ware milling and another called mid-south feeds that sells in bulk at discount.

  4. You can also check with your local co op.  If you have one near.  That's what we do here.  We get alfalfa pellets in bulk for about $3.50 for 50 pounds.

We just have several people go in on a huge load and we save 50 pound bags from our grain...and use that to 'measure' out what is our share.

  5. You could buy Purina or Triple Crown.  I think they might even have a toll free number.

  6. Not sure where you are located but you can try:

  7. I don't know.
