Where can I park tonight near union station?

Hi, I am going to pick up someone at union station in Chicago around 830 or 9 pm. I wonder if there is free parking around for 10-15 minutes or if the parking on S Clinton St(between W monroe St and W Adams st) is Free at 9 pm thursday ?

It should be free to park aroudn Union Station tonight. Most parking meters in the city are free after 9 p.m. Just drop in a quarter or two, enough to last until 9. But be sure to read the signs around the area. The city can be pretty tricky with their parking restrictions ("No parking at meter from 6 a.m. to 7:30 p.m on alternate Tuesdays between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m." .. Huh?)
