Where can I pick up a package that I wasnt home to pick up?

I wasnt home to sign for it or something. I dont see a phone number. But if I called 1800 ASK USPS. Which is the postal service's number, what would I need to know to find my package?

Tell them your current situation. They have everything digitally recorded on their system so they should be able to pinpoint where your package is.
