Where can I place my new gps?

I've recently purchased a tom tom go 720 and I'm having trouble working out where to legally place (australian law) it on the windscreen. Does anyone have any ideas?

I'd use one of those snake arm mounts with a suction cup that attaches to the windscreen.

I have a phone holder like that. The lowlifes in San Francisco mistaken that twice for a GPS mount and rummaged through my car TWICE in a month. They got nothing though, since my GPS is built into my phone. Take that! Still had to pay $$$ to replace the side window, of course.

Best some place out of sight.    Most GPSrs stolen from vehicles were up in plain sight of the thief.     No need to encourage some lowlife to smash your glass.

I just put mine in my cup holder on the dash--works great

Attach it to the upper most corner of the windscreen on the drivers side.
