Where can I play Aussie Rules Football in London?

I watched Aussie Rules Footbaill in Oz and enjoyed it. I'm back home in London now and would like to play the game, but where?

  1. As mentioned above, there is a mix of Australian Rules and Gaelic Football that is played between Australia and Ireland. While different sports, both have a lot of similarities, so if you can't find aywhere to play Australian Rules, check around for Gaelic Football compeitions. There's likely to be more of those.

  4. As mentioned above, BARFL is one of the biggest leagues outside of Aus, and is surprisingly very competitive. Went to watch the grandfinal last time around and it was good.

    The best team is undoubtably West London Wildcats who have won three titles in a row, although there are also teams in Wimbledon, Sussex, Putney, Wansworth, and North London. In the second dvision there are teams from Barnes, Shepherds Bush, City, Clapham, Ealing, Fulham and Regents Park.

  6. come over to ireland,as you probally know we paly the aussies every year in two international rules games,its a mix of gaelic football and aussie rules,its on in the next few weeks,if u wana see more of it live,would be worth a trip
