Where can I practice my saxophone?

My house isn't very large. Its about 1,750 sq feet. I have a saxophone and really need to practice. I missed one whole year of band because I switched school, and this year I'm going to be in high school band. I have to go to summer band July 31-Aug 5. I need to get a lot better by then, but I have no where to practice.. I could go outside, but its like 95 degrees. Then, I could go in the shed, but the air conditioner broke, so now its like 120 degrees in there. If I play anywhere in the house it will aggravate everyone. They are home often too. Sometimes I may be able to go to a friends, but that'll be not very often, and I need to practice everyday. I can't go to my grandparents either. Where can I go?

You should cut a deal with all of the people that you live with and set aside a certain time every day, for an hour or however long you practice at a time, and make it so they will let you practice. They will know that during that time you are going to practice and either will deal with it or leave. If you need to do some favors for them in return. It takes a lot of work to learn an instrument, and you can tell them that the more you practice, the better you will sound in the future.

Well, sounds like you have a real problem.  :(    - Have you thought about going up to the school?   I know it is open.   If the band hall is open for the directors to start getting things ready for summer... and I bet they are...  you might ask to use the practice rooms once a day.   If the band hall is not open,  you might ask the principal if you can can practice in the cafeteria - gym - auditorium.  I bet if you are very sincere and show you really want to be a good music student... you will be allowed to practice.    Otherwise,  you might just have to annoy your family.  Practicing at supper time would be good, because no one is taking a nap, watching a TV program or anything else that would be an issue.   You can eat your dinner later when you  are finished practicing.
