If possible, as similar to this: http://www.japan-guide.com/g4/2210_01.jpg

as possible.

Is there anyway to get it imported? custom made, et cetera

OR

if there are websites I can order off where the prices are not killer.

  1. That isnt a japanese design.  That type of bike is called a cruiser.  You can get a cruiser at any bike shop.  If you HAVE TO get a japanese bike that looks like that, maybe you can look into a bike dealer that sells FUJI?  That is the only japanese brand that I know of but to tell you the truth, FUJI is not even run by the japanese anymore.   Only the name and history comes from japan.  FUJI does sell cruisers.  And many bike shops do carry FUJI.

  2. Its kinda hard to get cruiser/commuter bikes from Japan, usually online you see the fixed gears or vintage bike that more people are interested in.

My best bet is to browse ebay and craigslist often... or, find a nice local small bike shop and ask around. The small shops have much better service for the most part.
