Where can I purchase a Rainbow Lorikeet?

I'm looking to purchase 1 or 2 Rainbow Lorikeets. I'm located in Alabama. I cant even seem to find anywhere online to buy them =o( Any help would be great! THANKS!

Usually if you google bird breeders for lorikeets you will come up with many searches but i find that birdbreeders.com is very good. If your willing to ship there are many lorikeets up for sale on birdbreeders.com here is the direct link http://www.birdbreeders.com/availability...

You can not get them in the US im sorry, You could try to call the zoo and see if you can get one out without anyone knowing.

There are a few breeders around, you can check places like birdbreeders.com, birdsnway.com. I don't know of any breeders in Alabama but I'm sure you might be able to find someone who just hobby breeds in the state, or breeders in neighboring states (there are quite a few in Florida if you're in southern Alabama...). If not there's always the option of having a bird shipped to you.

Well maybe you can sell them like in a cage and put a really good price on them say like $10
