Where can I purchase a new power supply for my TV?

I have a 20.1'' Spectroniq Liquid Crystal Display model number PLTV-20NW32. One night while I was watching it, I noiced the smell of something burning. It smelled like a light ballast from a floresant fixture like they use in stores. When I was investigating the smell I discovered that the box along the power cord to the TV was really hot to the touch. The smell seemed to come from it. I turned it off because I was afraid of a fire.

The next day the TV didn't work at all also the light that is on the box on the power cord wasn't lit. I tried to contact the manufacturer but they had gone out of business. I tried to replace the power cord at Radio Shack but they didn't carry it and could not tell me where I could go to get a replacement cord.

This Tv is less than a year old. I hope you can help me and tell me who I can contact to get a new power supply cord. If there is any further information you need to look into this problem please feel free to contact me. I appreciate your help. Thanks, Sue
