Where can I purchase cyprus lumber? i dont want the hassle of ordering from like lowes or home depot...

Im going to be building a house soon and i would like to use cyprus lumber because its resistant to rot and termites and wood consuming insects hate it

I think that it is now illegal to cut down a cypress tree in Florida.  It will difficult if not impossible to find cypress lumber at a retail store.

yeah good question, if your planning on building a whole house from it be ready to spend some serious cash, cypress is around $3-5 per ft.  you mite try running an add for old cypress in your local newspaper, if i were you id plan on mabyusing it just around the cabinets and sink areas.  its not easy finding this wood these days. good luck! maby you can find someone with and old barn that needs tearing down this sort of thing.
