Where can I purchase the Indian drink 'Soma' in the US?

It is said that writers of the Rig Veda were inspired by drinking Soma. Any other information you may have I would also greatly appreciate. Thank you.

People in India do not drink 'soma'. Its actually a popular drink in certain parts of Pakistan now. The herb is found there. Rig Veda was written thousands of years ago when that part of Pakistan was in so called undivided India. Drinking large quantities of soma will do no good. It has to be taken in only certain prescribed quantities to have full effect i.e help in the thinking process and keep you alert. I have no idea how you can get it in US. It may be exported or if you know anyone who goes to Pakistan for a visit, you can ask them to get it for you.

you can find it in the ethnic food aisle at your grocery store.. if they don't have it there, go to a health food store...
